The last 24 hours in the city of Pompeii twittate by Pliny the elder in person. It is an initiative of the Museum of natural history and science in Denver who wants to promote the exhibition entitled “A day in Pompeii” and that will open its doors next September 14. After exactly 1933 years since it happened, on 24 August 79 a.d., the fatal eruption of Vesuvius that destroyed the city, burying under the lava the majority of its inhabitants, that tragedy revived on the internet, as if it happened today.
